Has anyone else had a bone scan and CT tap as part of their investigations?
Hi .mel28 I had both of these and from reading others posts on here, it seems fairly standard. It’s to see if there is any spread to other parts of the body. As difficult as it might be, please try not to be alarmed by this - your medical team are being thorough and working to put together the best treatment plan for you.
Best wishes xx
I had them after my op because they found one positive node not shown on the ultrasound. They are staging scans, and some areas do MRI instead of the CT scans, but I think that thr nuclear bone scan it always done as it's the commonest area of spread. Did they find a positive node?
