Hello,
I received my first cycle of Abraxane last Friday (previously completed 3 cycles of EC) and seem to be really suffering this time. Side effects are as described but wondered if anyone else had any good tips to get through them as feeling quite low at present.
I contacted the hospital as couldn't keep food down and so hoping that new anti-sickness tablets kick in from today. Also suffering badly with tingles and numbness in both feet, toes and finding it really painful to walk. I've been told to take paracetamol or ibuprofen but really struggling at night and keeping my up?
Thank you in advance
Best wishes all

Thanks, I will try this.
Did you ask for the dosage to be lower or did they recommend this? If lower did this mean you had additional cycles? I'm fortunate to have only 2 to complete chemo but its going to be hard knowing how I am feeling at the moment?
Hope your treatment is going well?
The idea to lower the dose came from the oncologist. It did not add cycles.
How are you doing today, JAnneN, any better?
