I had a lumpectomy and 3 lymph nodes removed (all clear) on 2/8. Clear margins and I've healed well.
I had my first chemo on Friday 1/10 and over the last couple of days I've noticed the boob where I had my surgery is feeling different. I'm presuming this is the chemo working on that area. Even though there's no cancer there (as far as we know) it must be doing something.
Anyone else experience this?
Hi Jacala, your surgery wasn't that long ago so the sensations you are feeling might be from your surgical wounds continuing to heal. I didn't have chemo but I do remember that it took many months for me to feel like the wounds had fully healed and that things had settled into some sort of normal.
Do mention it to your medical team though just in case, you have nothing to loose.
