High heart rate after Herceptin

Hi Red Ruby, I had Herceptin but did not get an increased heart rate.  I answered you so that your posting gets moved onto the first page and then hopefully someone with relevant experience will respond for you.

Hi, I have not had this myself, but maybe you should give your oncologist a call. I know the reason they do the regular ECHOCARDIOGRAM during Herceptin is because they want to keep an eye in the heart rate and this is Herceptin related.   In saying that, I did notice on my Apple Watch that my resting hear t was anything between 50 and 90 during chemo, I always smiled and thought I must be giving their analytics team a real headache.  Good luck 

Thanks to you both for replying. At the moment the doctors think it’s a response to chemo, but I’m going to try to get checked again and I’m probably due another scan soon - hoping everything is ok.
