Feeling so fed up with lack of taste having to balance taking anti sickness tablets with eating figs to combat constipation. Ate an entire (quite large) bar of chocolate last night. I have never done that in my entire life. I’m sick of the metallic taste - nothing tastes good. Have no idea why I chomped through the chocolate. One more chemo to go. Radiotherapy to follow. Still horrendous nerve pain. Can barely walk.
Hi Jgau
Just to say that I feel for you. I got a bit down just before the last chemo too. I think it is because it is so near the end, but you are not quite there yet. So near, yet so far!
You can do this and you should not feel guilty about the chocolate. You must have enjoyed it at the time or you would not have eaten it. A little bit of what you fancy, does you good.
Good luck with the last one
Big hugs

Hi WallyDug
It does feel strange to be having my last chemo in 2 days. It’s been my whole life for 5 months. I thank you for your reply and yes I do feel very down. That’s because I want to feel better and I’m hoping I will. I still can’t walk properly due to nerve pain. All the best to you xxx
