Hi Iblodwin,
Ive just found this thread and so sorry to hear you’re still so sore. Have you doctors been able to help at all or at least give an idea of when it might start to get better?
I’m recovering from my lumpectomy but do get quite sore and achey still. Back in on Tuesday for implant removal.
I hope things start to get better for you soon, sending a hug.
Ruby xx
Thanks going to try GP tomorrow. Done all the pain killers... Don't really help.
Hi Iblodwin,
sorry to hear you’re in pain, I hope GP was able to help. I had SMX with immediate reconstruction 3 months ago, I have some pain but not enough to need meds. Mine is mostly swollen, some days are worst then others. Have you tried physiotherapy? I’ve heard sometimes that helps with pain.
Thanks, GP has prescribed something for the nerve pain. Amitriptyline. Seems to be working. Plus it makes you sleepy and the pain and discomfort was keeping me awake. Have now managed to get some sleep. Huge relief.
