  • Hi cheesewell,

I am sorry about your diagnosis. I was diagnosed with TNBC grade3 in jan 21. I am having my last chemo tomorrow and the surgery in 4 weeks. They couldnt see any lymph node involvement from scan so I have see what happens in my after surgery result. Are your lymph nodes swallon? Are you having chemo first? The worst time is when you get the news and while you are waiting for your treatment to start. Then you learn to deal with things step by step. Hopefully things get easier for you. Chemo wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Take care xx

  • Yes chemo starts in a few weeks. Then surgery then radiotherapy. To be honest I am not at all worried. Just dealing with the facts and letting the pros do what they think is best. Good to know the chemo is not that bad. Hope all works out for you. Thanks for reaching out.

  • Hi cheeswell

Welcome and sorry to hear that you have Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I was diagnosed with Triple Negative last September. I had eight cycles of chemo, 4 of AC and 4 of Taxol and then a lumpectomy and two nodes removed from under my armpit. I’m having further chemo treatment in tablet form as there was still some cancer left in one of the nodes my surgeon took. I then had a CT and bone scan to make sure it hadn’t spread, which it hadn’t thankfully.

You have a great attitude and that’s half the battle.

Wishing you the best of luck with your treatments.
