Hallo.
In the past four weeks: I have been diagnosed with stage 2 lobular breast cancer; had a mastectomy and lymph node clearance; returned to theatre as I bled 1 litre in 12 hours; discharged; readmitted with pneumonia; discharged; readmitted with severe breathlessness (Category 1 ambulance); and now discharged again. I am now waiting to see an oncologist in about 4 weeks to discuss future treatments. I have coped well until yesterday evening, when it began to hit me. I am the sort of person who copes and copes until the lid comes off the pressure cooker. I am also withdrawing from HRT as I need to be clear of it in three weeks. It is all such a whirlwind. Thanks for reading. Anita.
