Hi.. I'm not much of a sharer but googling and my current mind boggling FB feed is probably not the best way to go. I am 62 and was admitted to hospital on the 9th July after becoming pretty unwell and vomiting for about 12 hours finally producing nothing but green bile. In hospital they suspected gallbladder stones and I was scanned and I was told I would probably have my gallbladder removed. The scan sadly confirmed that diagnosis but also revealed a lump on my left breast. I proceeded to become more unwell and my gallbladder perforated before they could remove it. They treated the inflammion and infection with an IR drain in situ for 6 weeks and I had a biopsy taken of my breast lump. The diagnosis was a grade 3 IDC triple positive breast cancer. Fast forward and I've had a lumpectomy and 4 lymph nodes removed. I have my follow up on Thursday and scheduled for a cholecystectomy on 16th October. The breast surgery hasn't been too bad but I have quite a bit of swelling under my arm and that is sore, like I've got a misplaced mini boob. I go from feeling nothing to joking about it but honestly quite scared . I guess all you lovely ladies out there get that. Be well wishes to you all.
