Hi everyone just not long joined the forum I recently got diagnosed with breast cancer  stage 2 triple negative on Thursday there its been so hard still trying to come to terms with it people are telling me not to worry and I'll get through this trying to keep positive but even that is hard to do

  • Hi

I am sorry you have been diagnosed with TNBC. I think people have a reflex response of telling you not to worry. Of course you are going to worry and it’s perfectly ok to do so. There’s also no obligation to put a positive face on it for the world. How you feel might help you cope with treatment but it’s not likely to change what your cancer does. This is one of those things you have to take one step at a time. Sometimes more information emerges and treatment plans change. Some days you will feel ok and others not. Find people who are going through something similar. I am not sure people truly understand the physical and mental toll of a cancer diagnosis unless they have been through it.
