Hello everyone,
First a brief introduction, I am from the United States, and I have only been here since the end of June. I am just getting started on my digital nomad journey, staying in Airbnb’s for 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
I found a lump in my breast Tuesday morning and had a biopsy yesterday. The doctor told me it was cancer, but we’re waiting for the results of the biopsy. I’m trying really hard to be brave, but it’s hard. My Airbnb host is amazing, but my stay here is up on August 25th, so I’ll have to find a new place. I have decided to have the surgery and treatment here. Private pay because I’m not a British citizen. I actually do have a very positive outlook on life, and I know everything’s going to be OK. It is nice that I found this forum and know that I’m not alone.
Thank you!
Michelle
