Hi everyone
I just wanted to introduce myself.
I went for my normal mammogram 17th April.
I was called on 24th to advise I needed further tests on 29th.
Another mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. The person doing the ultrasound and biopsy said it was cancer.
I was back in clinic on 13th May. The consultant explained my diagnosis and first step of my treatment. It didn’t seem real as I had just had 10 years post Cervical Cancer.
I was given the date of 8th June for my Lumpectomy and SLNB.
on 4th June I was told my surgery was cancelled as consultant was unavailable and new date set 29th June
So it’s now 3 weeks post surgery. Still very sore. Seeing consultant this Friday for results of surgery and biopsy and next steps.
Hard to believe it’s almost 3 months since that first mammogram.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
