I found this one very comfortable after my lumpectomy. It was good for sleeping in and for daytime wear and looked OK under t shirts. I used it again after radiotherapy when I was a little sore. Hope that helps.
After my lumpectomy the best thing for me was a Nike zip front high support sports bra I already had. It wasn’t the cheapest of things, about £50 I think, but designed to hold everything in place for sport so felt really secure. It is slightly padded which felt protective and the snug fitting helped with swelling. Not the most attractive of items but was brilliant! I wore this daily for a couple of weeks washing it overnight.
The other thing I had which was great was some “invisible” crop tops for £8 each from Primark which I stepped into initially. They’re made out of a seamless almost silky kind of material and I bought a size that felt snug enough to be supportive. They have removable padding which again felt protective and gave a nice shape while everything settled. I still wear them now two years later under tight fitting clothes. The nice thing was they were in lovely colours and had lots of different styles of matching underwear to go with them including pretty lacy ones. I loved this as just because I had had surgery didn’t mean I couldn’t have something that still looked nice.
Hi, I think it depends on your chest size and how extensive your surgery is. I used to be a 32F and after my lumpectomy I used a mix of sports bras I already owned and also a front fastening M&S post surgery bra. however I had two further and more extensive surgeries (one each side) and invested in a macom signature bra - for me this was super comfortable and helped control swelling. I only bought one and hand washed it regularly (using sports bras as back up). good luck x
