Had my normal check up and found a lump. Then returned to have more test and biopsy’s taken. Two lumps fused front facing. Said cancer having meeting next week. My heads in bits. I am expecting an operation and therapy. In shock and just managing to work.

Sorry to hear you have had these tests and they have found lumps. I am guessing that they haven't confirmed cancer, but they think it's highly likely that it is cancer? Usually what happens after biopsies and tests is that you have a meeting with a consultant to confirm if it's cancer or not.
When I had further tests, I was told "we have found something concerning" and was booked in for the consultant. I knew when the nurse said that, that is was cancer, so it wasn't a surprise when the consultant told me I had cancer.
However, the one thing that I will say is that the fear of what is ahead so much worse than what is actually ahead, so at this stage, the important thing to do is breathe and just take one day at a time. Deal with what's coming next and not what's going to be after the next thing that's happening (if that makes sense).
I had oestrogen positive cancer - ER and PR positive 8/8 andHer2 negative with DCIS (pre cancerous cells). This diagnosis meant I was able to have a lumpectomy and they got all the cells with their 10mm margin and then radiotherapy. I didn't need chemo. which was a huge relief. The oncotype DX test wasn't around at that point (9 years ago) for further tests to see if chemo is beneficial; so since my diagnosis that's improved. As has a reduced number of higher powered radiotherapy sessions.
For me, what I imagined was loads worse than what it actually was. So, that would be the best advice that I can offer - try not to panic and think the worst as the worst might just not happen.
