Hi, newly diagnosed 3 weeks ago.
Found by routine mammogram
Biopsy taken and revealed the breast cancer in my left breast
Not started treatment yet, expected to be end of July.
Have a few issues to get round ..a pacemaker and a large stent in my heart. Plus diabetes type 1.
Finding everything a bit scary and beyond my control.
Hi Misty208
Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum.. I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer on top of having diabetes. It's a scary time when you find out you have cancer. Breast Cancer is very treatable these days and they keep coming up with new treatments all the time.
I've been diagnosed with breast cancer twice and after having treatment both times I came out on the other side of it and I've been cancer free for nearly three years.
Wishing you the best of luck with whatever comes next for you.
Best wishes
Daisy53
