Following chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy for Stage 3 hormone related breast cancer, I am now taking anastrazole and abemaciclib medication. Went for Covid vaccine booster today and was refused because I was told that Abemaciclib is “just hormone medication” and therefore I am not eligible. I was under the impression that it was an immunity suppressant. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
