Hello has anyone been so anxious about their diagnosis it gave them physical symptoms eg numbness/pins and needles / muscle twitches?
Hi Majella1
After my diagnosis I had pains in my shoulder and back and convinced myself of the worst. These all went away after surgery. I was then recalled from my first mammogram and started getting tenderness in my ribs which felt quite sore. Again I thought the worst but went away when I was given the all clear. Turned out what they wanted to take a second look at wasn’t even on that side!
Definitely mention what you are feeling to your BCN to be sure you are properly checked, but remember the mind can do funny things when we are under stress. x
