Hi,. I had bilateral mastectomy for invasive ductal carcinoma 12yrs ago.
A few months back I found a pea sized lump in my neck just below the jaw. After all these years of vigilance, watching my body for changes, I decided to wait and see if it either grew or disappeared as I'd had a chest infection around this time.
It's 3/4 months now and it's gotten bigger. I'm waiting for an appointment to get it checked out but I'm worried as a return visit is my worst nightmare from the unwanted house guest.
I guess I'm afraid and just need to voice my concerns as I can't tell anyone else and put them through all the worry again.
