Lobular breast with metastatic adenocarcinoma to lymph

Hi, I had a lumpectomy and was pretty sore for the first few days, but I was up and about fairly quickly. Sorry I can't remember when I could drive.  The biggest issue was not lifting things.  Top tips from me is that if people offer to help say yes, and having some frozen meals easy to defrost and heat would be helpful.  Also, it is important to do the exercises they give you.  Best wishes 

Hi, I was ok after my lumpectomy, a little sore and tender but nothing that required more than a couple of paracetamol for a couple of days.

Plan some meals in advance so you don’t need to cook and accept any help offered, oh and do the exercises they give you which help a lot

Hi Wildlifelover.  I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  If they remove the lymph nodes and tumor, will it cure the cancer?  When are you having your op, do you have a date yet.  I had lumpectomy and didn't find it too bad and not so painful.  The exercises definitely help with recovery.  Good luck and big hugs x

Thanks for this. It’s really encouraging. Op Friday and I hope so bit they say not life prolonging and no guarantees. So, can only hope and stay positive
