Not to ask too personal a question, but i think it kind of depends if you're you having a lumpectomy or mastectomy, and are you talking about a bra to hold a form to give you back shape?

There's good advice on this thread...

RE: Hello, DCIS here, worried about my breast shape!

I've seen the ones in M&S and they have pockets for forms, which you can get in different shapes to suit what you need.

Someone recommended a brand called Evenly.

If you just mean a decent comfortable bra, then can't really go wrong with an M&S tshirt bra. I got a back of 3 without underwiring, nice wide back, nice thick straps!

  • I bought a couple from M&S and they were brilliant. Plenty of support but nice and soft. They’re good for lumpectomy (which is what I had) and you can get the inserts if you have a mastectomy.

  • Yep m and s were great for me, the most comfortable.

  • Hi I ordered about 8 different ones from M&S after being measured (the staff were amazing)

but none were comfortable as they sat on the scar from lymph nodes removal.

I ordered a couple from contuve .com and they have been great

    Hi

    I’m 63 diagnosed with BRCA2 sep 2023

was recommended to have ovaries/tubes out as I’m passed menopause, and discouraged to have DMX due to age. Lots of BC in family

I had 2nd MRI in October and a lump was found, had biopsy etc

results on 4th Nov and it’s TNBC with slight hormonal levels 3/8 so I need treatment to stop any spread

had lumpectomy on in 1st Dec all lymph nodes and margins were clear

healing really well and not too painful

start 6 months of chemotherapy on 8 January

I’m really dreading it but I know it’s the medicine that’s going to help stop any cancer returning

im in Newcastle/Gateshead and I’ve had amazing care from everyone
