Iv been diagnosed with TNBC had 12 weeks of neoadjuvant, pembrolizumab, paclitaxel and carboplatin .my next neoadjuvant chemo is Cyclophosphamide 4 cycles but today iv had a scan and the doctor couldn't find my tumours said iv had 100% result and nothing was there, my question is why do I need the next 4 cycles of cyclophosphamide if they there gone. Why cant I have surgery first. Has this happened to anyone else ..

Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I'm glad to hear that the the chemo you've had so far as gotten rid of the cancer. No doubt the reason they want to give you the next 4 cycles before your operation is to mop up any cancer cells that may have escaped.
