Hi
I too am newly diagnosed breast cancer. I find out the results next week but was assured it’s small , picked up by a routine mammogram. The same week my husband was also diagnosed with lung cancer. Both caught incidentally with neither of us having symptoms. Both have come as great shock. I’m surprised by my emotions though . I feel so angry ! Is that normal . No crying nothing like that. Every time the phone rings my heart jumps . My husbands diagnosis is 1 weeks in front of me and Radiotherepy for his lung tumour should start in the next few weeks. I think im going to need all your levels head to get us both through this.
Thank you for any help
Whatever you feel is normal! It's a shock, and however you react to that is perfectly valid!
Advice and stories I've read on the forum so far all seem to indicate that feelings and fears settle a lot once your treatment plan starts. I hope yours is organised really fast, so you know what's going to happen and when xx
