Invasive Ductual carcinoma

Am also new here. Diagnosed on the 30th Sept. Have had 2 doses of EC so far.

Struggled the first week, completely wiped me out but feel ok now. How are you? X

Didn't really get any side effects from the 1st dose. Cold capped but lost a LOT of hair from my crown after the 2nd dose. Don't think I had the cap on properly and I didnt say anything. Oh well.

Generally I feel ok. Am getting out every day to walk the dogs. Fresh air and dogs ... 100% recommend :)

I didn't know what most of my appointments were for, so when I had my first catch up with the consultant I hadn't really recorded / noted anything. Now I use the app to record everything I can (temperature, side effects & whatnot), and also my phone calendar to record any side effects / how I'm feeling each day (found that easier to track as i can search it more readily than what I've put into the app).

Today I'm having the lower back pain and achy joints from the immunity injections. Hits me days 8-9.

Am buying myself yarn as a little treat :)

•  Oh nooo,  hope fully you don’t loose much on the next one and let them know if it dosnt feel, right, Im also cold capping, not really lost any hair,  as such yet, app is a brilliant idea may take that up as so much information to give and take, I’m not getting out much, just make it to my back gardern,but yes will try more walks. For body ache i am using Epsom salts and just sitting in the bath. Try hope it helps xx

Am new here but have gone far in my treatment currently about to take cycle 7/8 (first 4 cycles were EC and last 4 are Paclitaxel).

Glad your 1st EC went well, I was ok on my 2st too but after the 2nd I lost all my hair (no cold cap for me). I felt more fatigue after my 2nd round. Yes I agree fresh air absolutely does magic. Hope you continue on the positive streak x.
