Hi ,

My name is Rachel Ann and I was diagnosed in April 2022 and started on letrozole in May 2022.

Almost immediately my hair started falling out and although I mentioned this to my breast care team they just seemed to dismiss it. Anyway 3 and a half years ,nearly 4 years later although the loss slowed my hair has become so thin ,for me. Prior to treatment I have always had very thick ,very long hair

So although I still have a fair covering ,I'm finding it very difficult to cope with my now very thin ,dry ,frizzy hair .it is now half the length it used to be and I have not had it cut .I could previously sit on my hair .

I have tried a few shampoos for hair loss, recently purchased one called Routine wellness ,it is a whole range of shampoos, conditioner, serums ,masks and supplements.

So my questions are

Has anyone else tried this brand

If so was did it help

I have just realised it my interfer with letrozole

So should I not use it and get a refund .

Help

  • Hi Rachel,  I am the same with thinning hair and I hate it.  Some might say that it is a small price to pay but it still depresses me.  I don't think that the Routine wellness shampoo range should affect your letrazole but you could ask your breast care nurse.
