Hi I have been given this diagnosis and currently having more biopsies as they are checking an area with a typical cells, not quite sure what that means, I would love to hear from someone with the same diagnosis and what was the plan recommended for you. Feeling overwhelmed at times and if im honest scared I believe the cancer is not hormone receptive.
Hi I have been diagnosed with this but after CT scans and MRI they have said inflammatory breast cancer
Treatment is Chemo , unfortunately. I will need a masectomy and radiotherapy also very scary
You just can't believe it is happening to you
Stay strong you have got this sending you a hug x
Hi, I had Invasive ductal cancer, diagnosed late February, level 2. I had a lumpectomy (28mm lump) late march, and a re-excision in early may to get a clearer margin in one area. Mine was very hormone positive, HER2 negative. I had 5 sessions s of radiotherapy end july/ beg August and am on Letrazole for 5 years. My onco score was 5 out of 100-so no chemo, which was always thought would be the case, but i was so relieved . I'm pleased its all over, still a bit tired after radiotherapy, but have worked since returning after recovery from surgery. Probably should have had some time off to rest following RT in hindsight though. I have my 6 monthly check up mid November with breast surgeon. Everyone has been amazing throughout the treatment I have to say. Hope all goes well for you x
