Hi, I'm new here 
Found a lump 3 weeks ago & last week had mammogram, ultrasound & biopsies. They also found a lump in my armpit & have advised my lymphnodes are swollen so also took a biopsy from there.
Does anyone have any idea how long I'll have to wait, they said 2 weeks which right now feels like 2 months so hoping it might be quicker. I have no clue what happens & am feeling quite scared.

Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm sorry to hear that you are waiting on a breast cancer diagnosis. The wait is usually two weeks but they may get you in sooner if the results are back. It's perfectly understandable that you are feeling scared, facing a cancer diagnosis is a scary time. Most lumps turn out to be benign but if it is breast cancer it will more than likely treatable particularly if it has been caught early.
I've been diagnosed with breast cancer twice and after having treatment both time. I made a full recovery and I have been cancer free for just over two years.
There is plenty of help out there if you are struggling. You can ring the helpline on 0808 808 0000 anytime from 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week. They can even arrange counselling for you if you'd like. If there is a Maggie's centre or another cancer near where you live, you can call into them to talk to someone about how you are feeling. I believe they also offer a cup of tea or coffee and piece of cake.
