Got diagnosed only last Friday.
Sorry to hear this. How are you? What type of breast cancer is it? Do you have a treatment plan yet?

Hi thanks. I'm ok, it's a triple negative but thankfully very early and treatable. It's the chemo I'm scared of most and the side effects to my hair. Going for MRI on Monday. Good luck to you. What type do you have?
I had her 2 negative, it was removed last year by way of mastectomy. I finished 12 sessions of chemo in Aug and now I’m on radiotherapy. I’m also on letrozole now for 10 years which is a hormone blocker. Still lots of appointments and scans for me as I’m on the high risk screening programme being brca2 positive.
Please do not worry about chemo. I know everyone reacts differently but please take hope from me, I still worked throughout, still did all the school runs and basically did everything I did before. Anything you struggle with, constipation etc the nurses will give you something for it.
Thanks for your kind words. You have been through alot too. I'm at start of my journey, chemo first and then lump removal then radiotherapy. I too am having gene testing because my mum had it in her 50's and I have 2 daughters. Take care x
Thank you. Yes alot to take in before you accept it and try to carry on best you can. Have you started treatment yet ?x
Hi Blondeya72
I was diagnosed with triple negative just over five years ago. Like yours mine was caught early and was successfully treated.
Wishing you the best of luck with chemo.

Hello.
Mine is triple negative too, but like you it has been caught early and is treatable.
I have just found out today that my Chemotherapy is starting next week.
It’s like going into the unknown. A bit nervous.
I hope it’s not long until your treatment starts. x
