Hello I’m new to this group. I have invasive ducal carcinoma which is triple negative. Just started chemo and immunotherapy and completed my first 3 weekly cycle. Hair falling out already!
Hi, Welcome to the group. I had 4 rounds of EC last year. After my 1st chemo my hair started thinking by the 2nd one it was coming out in chunks. At this point my daughter shaved it off for me.
I thought I would be devastated, I was sad but realised it's only hair if this medication can kill off any cancer cells and let me live then it's a small price to pay.
I had a lovely wig noone knew it was a wig and I wore beanie hats.
My chemo finished in September and my hair slowly came back. Its much thicker, darker and curly. Its lovely. Before chemo I had dyed red hair. It was poker straight and fine.
I hope this reassures you it will grow back and you might like it better.

I have also been diagnosed with this condition 10 days ago haven’t started treatment yet much love to you dig deep that’s what I’m going to do. I’m scared but together we can fight it. Lots of love
Ladies there's strength in numbers. Lots of support on this forum. I used it a lot last year. Cancer is scary.
I found it helpful learning from others further on in treatment than me. It gave me strength and hope to keep fighting.
I am now through the grueling regime of op chemo radiotherapy. Im on treatment for next 10 years Letrozole for 5 then Tamoxifen for 5. I also have 6 monthly bone infusions. Im back at work part time.
