Hello everyone
i realise DCIS is probably the best thing to be diagnosed with but it’s taking a little getting used to! Think I’ll feel better when I find out the next step of treatment.
Saw my consultant on monday i am now booked for an MRI next week and then wait for reaults then another biopsy and wait for results. This journey seems to involve a whole lot of waiting doesnt it!
Oh yes!! That's the worst bit, but in fairness, once you are in the system, they do move you through fairly quickly. It's such a lot to take in and cope with, and regardless of how many people you have around you it can still be quite a lonely journey. This site is brilliant for being able to share how you feel and read about other people going through the same emotions and fears. Hope it all goes well x
