Hi I am new to the group and I have stage 4 stomach cancer which is inoperable. I have been having Paclitaxel for a year now and although it has kept my tumor stable, it has not reduced it so I am now due to start Sacituzumab on Friday. Has anyone else had this form of targeted Chemo and what were the side effects like?
Regards
Maisy
Hi Maizy welcome to the group, I’m one of the champions here and I hope you find this a friendly and supportive place. I did notice your post hasn’t had any replies yet, as we are quite busy, and it's dropped a few pages. My response will bump you back to the top and hopefully one of the lovely people on here will be along with some advice soon. Best wishes
Hi I still have had no replies except from the Forum after 26 days. Disappointed.
Maizy.
Hi Maizy
I’m sorry you haven’t had any replies but I wonder if members are a bit confused about your post and that’s the reason?
You have posted in the breast cancer group, but you’ve said in your original post that you have stage 4 stomach cancer.
Perhaps if you could give a little more information, this may help others to respond? For example was your first diagnosis one of triple negative breast cancer and you developed a secondary stomach cancer, or was your original diagnosis one of stomach cancer?
Others may know the drug you’re taking by the brand name of Trodelvy, so by me mentioning this, it might catch someone’s eye and get some replies for you.
Sarah xx
