Hello, I was diagnosed with stage 1 grade 2 ductal about 7 weeks ago. Have undergone lumpectomy & SNB which were clear. Due to have radiotherapy & start Anastrazole. Slightly concerned about possible side effects from medication
Hi, and welcome to the Forum. I'm one of the champions here in this group and I hope you find it friendly and supportive. There are many posts about the side effects of Anastrazole and whilst some people do experience some side effects, many others tolerate it well. I think it's about being aware of any changes and talking to your medical team to assess the impact. Best wishes for this next phase of your treatment.
Hi River56
Welcome to the forum, I'm Daisy53 one of the other Community Champions on this forum. I'm on Anastrazole and have been on it for about a year. I haven't had any side effects from the medication luckily.
Wishing you the best of luck with your radiotherapy and with Anastrazole.
Best wishes

Hi. I was given Anastrozole after a lumpectomy and radiotherapy and was on it for 5 years. I didn’t notice many side effects at all and didn’t mind taking it.
