Hi everyone
I had breast cancer in 2022 and today 2 weeks after my 3 year mammogram I had a call from the hospital today saying they had seen something and it needed a repeat mammogram and ultrasound to investigate it further. I know this doesn't necessarily mean its anything to worry about. But am concerned about this due to family history? Any suggestions on how to take my mind off it?
Hi Devon welcome to the forum. I can appreciate how worried you will be with all the back history you have and none of it is easy..the only thing that I know and that others recommend is to keep yourself super busy and don't let that mind wander to worst case scenarios. I hope, as I'm sure we all do that this turns out to be something simple and easily sorted. If you felt that you wanted to chat to someone directly then please do think about giving the Macmillan Line a call 08088080000. Best wishes Gail x
So glad to hear this, this is fantastic, gives us all hope that if we are recalled then it is not always bad news.
