I am trying to get to terms with today’s diagnosis and the decision to be made now as I move forward. Anyone any advice who has been through this?
Ho Oceangal,
Welcome to the forum. It's a lot to get your head around. The anxiety of waiting for results and the unknown are experiences we've all been through.
However once you have your diagnosis following your biopsy you will receive your treatment plan. I was where you are this time last year. Since then I've had lumpectomy and removal of sentinels, chemo as a preventative measure, radiotherapy now on Letrozole and bone infusions.
It's a lot but doable. We are all very different in our treatments which will be discussed and agreed by you and your medical team. The breast cancer nurses, macmillan nurses and cancer care are all great supports. This forum is good for getting lived experiences from others.
Wishing you well in treatment and recovery. Happy to answer any questions if helpful about my journey xxx
