Hi
I’m just 1 month into taking the hormone medication and wanted to ask about side effects
I’ve also just finished 5 days of partial breast radiotherapy
Has anyone had muscle ache in glutes area and backs of legs with Anastrozole?
I know joint & muscle pain in a common side effect but as usual & like probably a lot of us overthinking everything. It’s more of an ache when sitting
Ive been back to the gym and hoping this will help with muscle aches get things moving. I was normally fit and active before. How things change :-(
At the moment this seems to be the only issue I hope nothing else occurs and obvs still time for the radiotherapy side effects as well
Thank you
Hi Warrior52,
I am on Letrozole which is similar. I also experience joint and bone pain. I find if I sit to long it takes ages to walk out the stiffness.
My muscles ache also in my gluten and backs of legs.
Like you exercise helps. Xx
Thank you your reply
Hope you are coping ok with the medication
It feels more muscular than joint with being glutes and top of the backs of my legs so I was a bit worried as their seems to be more connection to side effects of joint pain
Ill see how things go as only early days
Thanks again x
Hi warrior 52
Am on Letrozel and have the same symptoms. Difficultly in walking have to keep stopping. but I am also diabetic which seems to be more problems.
I find its best to stick to same brand as that also makes a difference.
Hi
I am on Letrozol. Have changed from Anastrozole . I have headaches, chronic fatigue and I can't think strait. I had to stop chemotherapy as it had caused peripheral neuropothy. It is months since my last treatment of Radiation treatment. I now find it hard to get out of bed, I am so tired. I have Herceptin injections and gabapentin with cocodamol and gabapentin. I am so depressed. I feel better reading your posts.
Take care
Pamled
