I'm new here. I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer November. I am already on 2nd chemotherapy with EC. Unfortunately my husband got flu or something... last night he had feever ... I'm afraid. I'm using a mask but I can't isolate myself because there is no one could help me and I take care of him too. My 3rd chemo will be very soon and I don't know what to do... please what shall I do?
Hi Rento,
Speak with your breast care team. They will give you advice. They also check your bloods before chemo so maybe able to identify through them if you are poorly or can carry on. Also may consider having flu vaccine.
I wish both you and your husband well. Sending hugs
