I have been on Letrozole for 3 months now. Most days I have joint stiffness. I can walk this out. As the day goes on I am still stiff if I sit for too long.
I get bone pain occasionally however effervescent paracetamol helps with this.
It is doable. I just remind myself that this pill is hopefully preventing a reoccurrence.
Everyone different some people don't experience any side effects.
If you do suffer and are unable to tolerate them there are alternatives.
My side effects from letrozole were similar to MissMolly’s so my oncologist moved me on to exemestane. I have similar side effects but they don’t seem quite as bad. Whether it’s because I’m more used to them or they really aren’t quite as bad I can’t say.
