Please don't let fear control you! My case was exactly as yours! The ultrasound of the nodes was clear, but during my surgery, they found cancer in 1 out of the 5 nodes they removed. And, yes, I had to have 8 sessions of chemotherapy. I was terrified. Chemotherapy (if it comes to that!) as unpleasant as it is, is very doable and many people have only mild side effects. Remember that oncologists and nurses will do everything they can to make things as side effects free as possible and in a couple of months you will start to get back to normal. Be strong and positive! Sending you a big hug!

Hey, i can understand you feeling scared, i was too. i had a biopsy and was told the same day that it was a grade 3 ductal carcinoma. i had an oncotype done after my surgery, that determined whether i had to have chemo or not. i did and 8 rounds. its tough tbh, but everyone is different in how they cope with it. The breast cancer nurses are great to call anytime you are worried, they will help and reassure. No matter what you will get through this and once you know your treatment plan you will feel better and know what you are facing. were all here to help you and chat to you xx
