I know I'm Scottish but I do speak plain English - not sure my oncologist or surgeon do though! It's all techno babble and letters of the alphabet which mean nothing to me. The letters they send are no less confusing! I eventually got annoyed with them both and told them to explain things as if I was a child - this has worked wonders
Good for you, I mentioned to my surgery what the relevance of all the letters and numbers was in letter detailing the biopsy results that he sent to me and he replied, don't worry about that, they are more for my reference and the MDT. I try and pick out the positives from the techno babble, I have clear margins and currently there is no sign of spread. Hopefully the chemotherapy and radiotherapy will keep it that way.
Good luck to you x
