Hi all, it was suggested to reach out for some peer support, I am 38 and currently having treatment for recurrent triple negative ductal grade 3. Feeling incredibly overwhelmed and frightened about the future.
I first had breast cancer 7 years ago and it came back February this year.
No one can give any reassurance that I will be ok
Hi DLH,
I also have breast cancer but not same as yourself.
I just wanted to say hi and boost your post. There are a few others on this site with triple negative BC hopefully one if them will see your post and respond.
I've had my op and chemo now having radiotherapy. It is a scary journey with no guarantees.
On a positive note you had it before and you were successful in your treatment. We are now 7 years down the line and treatments are much improved.
Waiting for a treatment plan is the worst. Waiting for results is nerve-wracking. We all experience that.
Please be kind to yourself, try to take one step at a time. You've beat this before you can do it again.
Please use this site and cancer care for support as well as your medical team.
I wish you well, keep us updated on your progress.
Xxx
