Hiya guys I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 2023 I had hormonal breast cancer this brought me into the early menopause and lately I’m feeling pain all over my body I’m taking extemestane also on abebliciclib two I finish that next may

has anyone been feeling any symptoms after they finish the endocrine treatment

my symptoms are body aches all over in my joints fatigue sleeping problems nasty dreams crying over silly things wanting sweet food chocolates x

  • Hi Lis50, I'm sorry to hear what you're going through.

You could ask your breast care nurse to give you an Exemestane holiday, to see if your symptoms improve.

I started Letrozole last year and developed muscle and joint pain. I struggled to get out of the bath. I was given a two-month holiday from it and felt better almost immediately.

My breast care nurse then switched me to Exemestane. I've been on it for 10 months. So far, so good.

For some reason, some Aromatase Inhibitors work for some people and not for others. Your team know this. I'm sure if you tell them what's happening, they can do something about it. I've often been told "Don't suffer in silence" !

    Hope that's helpful.

Good luck, Bear and Tilly  xx
