Hi everyone. This is my first message on here. I had surgery on Tuesday..lumpectomy and node excision. Feeling a bit down today, physically and emotionally. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why I have arrows drawn on my upper leg, same side as affected breast, and what the little blue/black dots are on the top of my breast ( like constellations!). Thanks in advance. Judy
Marks are used to determine where the surgeon needs to operate …which is handy as you don’t want the wrong bit removed! I guess different surgeons have different methods of marking ….mine used a big black marker !
I hope you’re recovering well…chin up , your on the road to recovery xxx.I had mine done yesterday and my black mark has gone with a bit of a rub Big hug
