Hi , I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy 3 yrs ago, had my 3 Yr mammogram and have DCIS in situ - pre cancerous cells in same breast, different location. I also have MS and an looking at a masectomy next month, due to MS I don't want to put my body through reconstructive surgery as my MS is stable at the moment and this will have a massive impact and extended recovery but I'm really struggling with this . I'm in my 50's and thought I'd be OK with this as I'm pretty strong but bothers me more when I start to think about intimacy, I have a very supportive partner but it's how I feel . Thank you and hope that's not too much information!
