I had a wide local excision in October and radiotherapy in January for my estrogen positive breast cancer. There was a much bigger lump than originally detected with an additional metastatic lump. I'm now taking letrozole.
I'd like to know if anyone else had this sort of treatment and us still feeling exhausted after the smallest effort. My breast still feels 'heavy' with a couple of harder lumps, my nipple is incredibly sore, I've even tried lanolin on it.
Thanks
Hi, sorry you find yourself in the club that most don’t want to be in. People said to me and they were right!! It will take a year before you start to feel like yourself. Even then another six months before you get back to the new normal. Be patient with yourself. You e been through a lot physically and mentally. This is a very good document to read;
