Good Morning,
i had a LD flap reconstruction to my left breast back in February. Following my surgery I was advised that the 2 tumours were regraded. One down graded and one upgraded to a 3. I was advised I was borderline for chemotherapy/radiotherapy. My Oncotype DX score was 8 so there was no benefit of chemo. I had my appt with the oncologist on Weds to discuss radiotherapy and they are recommending 15 sessions to my chest wall. She mentioned that there may be some impact to my reconstructed breast such as shrinkage/shape change. Has anyone had radiotherapy to an LD flap reconstruction and were there any changes?
I have an appointment with my plastic surgeon in October in case this happens. I was told the same thing about a possible change in shape etc
