Hi ,
I was diagnosed beginning of January with breast cancer , I am awaiting a reconstruction with tissue from tummy (tummy tuck) also I was offered a breast lift , it seems a long time to wait , but I m taking letrozole , just wondered if anyone has had same treatment , thank you Helen ️
Me!. Be prepared for a longer recovery but omg the benefits of having 20 year old boobs again are brilliant. I am 12 weeks post op and one chemotherapy session out of 6. I have had some bumps in the road but I would do it all over again. I do not have a nipper but been advised that his can be sorted in the future. I walk with a stick but mainly it gives me some stability in walking as my legs are a wee bit wobbly. I was in hospital from the Tuesday to the Friday. I was out for Christmas dinner the following week. Oh jeez it was a tough one but glad I managed it. Tummy still feels strange but again it is flat. Just now need to get the treatment out the road for me .xx take care
I was 6 weeks after diagnosis when I got my operation.
Hi. That’s great to hear, I live in Sheffield, and we have a number of great specialist hospitals, did you have to buy very expensive compression underwear, also what was the first 2 weeks post op like xx
