Just a quick introduction.

female, 52.
Single,  live alone

Routine mammogram 27.11.23

Breast clinic 14.12.23 mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies on both breasts and coil fitted in left breast.

Told left breast almost certainly cancer (2.5cm), non committed on right breast.

Appointment with breast surgeon on 8th January.

Feels like a long wait. I just want better understanding and a plan.

I suspect I am going to have to get better at waiting for things in this coming year.

Being treated in the East Kent region.

  • yes sadly waiting is going to be a large part of it, but this is a good place to find support, welcome, sorry you are here

  • Hi CatsinDesl

Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s the worst part about having cancer, the wait for things to happen. However once a plan is in place for you things start to move quickly.

    Best wishes
