Hello

Hi- I was diagnosed at the beginning of November.  Surgery is sometime in January (a mastectomy and lymph node removal on the right and a lumpectomy on the left). Stay positive.

I am 64 and have been very fit and well all my life.

Mum died when I was 14 from breast cancer and my identical twin died from lung cancer at age 57.

I felt a lump that felt like a dried pea in early November in my right breast and booked to see my GP.   Fast forward to now and I have surgery planned for today to remove the cancer at 7mm and lymph nodes.

i cannot fault the support that I have had so far and will update once I am home.
