Hi, I was diagnosed on the 20th December with Grade 2 Invasive Ductal cancer (merry bloody Christmas!!). It’s oestrogen & progesterone positive, don’t know my Her2 result yet.

I am utterly overwhelmed by everything at the moment & I still have to break the news to my kids who are 11 & 8 Cry

I have to have two further tests before we can get a definitive treatment plan, which are booked for the new year. If anyone has had the micro bubbles test or a prone biopsy, could you let me know how long they take? I am going to ring the hospital tomorrow to speak to them, but thought I would as you guys as you may have already been through it.

Thanks

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to the forum. Sorry you find yourself here , the club none of us wanted to join. Hopefully you’ll find lots of support here and it’s a great place to ask questions, share experiences or just have a rant. I can’t help with your particular query but replying to you will bump your thread back up to the top. Also, as your questions are very specific, it could be worth starting another thread with the question in the heading eg Anyone had a bubble test or prone biopsy? That might get you some answers more quickly. Of course it may be too late now as you may already be on your way to the hospital.
Good luck with it all, keep posting and let us know how it’s all going, you’re in the horrible limbo land atm, waiting for tests and results. Hopefully you’ll soon know exactly what you’re facing and will get started with the first step of your treatment.
Sending love and a big virtual hug, HFxx
