Hi, I’m new here. I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in early November and had surgery last week - chest wall perforator flap and sentinel lymph node biopsy. Results back this week show that surgery has been successful, but I am awaiting the oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score to see if chemotherapy will add benefit to radiotherapy or not. I am hoping to seek and provide support to the forum as this is a journey that is a totally different experience to anything else I’ve had before. Thanks, Jx

  • Hi and welcome to the club nobody wants to join. Best decision you made joining here.  Any questions you have ask away as while everyone's journey is so individual there are often common issues such as side effects / medications etc. and much safer than Dr google.

  • Hi  and another warm welcome to the forum. I’ve found it a great place for support and shared experiences, and am still rattling around the site 5 years post diagnosis! Sending love and a big virtual hug, HFxx
