Diagnosed a month ago I had my surgery booked for the 3rd January but it’s now been cancelled due to the doctors’ strike. Feel like a deflated balloon at the moment, had got myself into the right place to enjoy Christmas with my grandkids and then the plan was to put on my big girl knickers and get this thing kicked out of me. Feel as if I’m going one step forward and two back at the moment. Just need to push it to the back of my mind and enjoy the holiday

Welcomme to the forum. I am sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with breast cancer and that your operation has been put back. I know the feeling all too well. Hopefully it won’t be too long til they give you a new date.
